Biography

At Cornell
Berk appeared in 25 games during his freshman season, making an immediate impact in the lineup. He scored his first collegiate goal in just his second career game, scoring a power-play tally in the win against Quinnipiac on Nov. 3 at Lynah Rink. He played in each of the Big Red's first nine games and 17 of the team's first 18, helping to fill the void left by the preseason injury to Brendon Nash.

Before Cornell
Berk, a left-handed shooting defenseman, played in 70 games at Salmon Arm, tallying 45 points with the Silverbacks. He scored eight times and added 37 assists. Of the eight goals, two were game-winners, while he also picked up 44 minutes in penalties during his rookie season in the British Columbia Hockey League.

Personal
Jordan Berk is the son of Doug and Susanne Berk. Berk's father, Doug, was a three-year letterman at Cornell from 1978 to 1981 under head coach Dick Bertrand. Jordan Berk wears the same number 16 that his father, Doug, wore when he was a player for Cornell. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
