Honorable Mention All-Ivy (2018)


As a Senior (2018-19)

• Appeared in all 36 contests throughout the season.
• Was third on the team in goals (12) and fifth in points (25).
• Two of her 12 goals were shorthanded, a mark which led the team.
• Notched one game-winning goal and assisted on four others.
• Top performance came against No. 8 Colgate (Jan. 26), when she registered three points (2g, 1a).
 

As a Junior (2017-18)

• Appeared in all 33 games, recording five goals and 13 assists.
• One goal came short-handed at Union (Feb. 16).
• Had six multi-point games on the year including two three-point outings: at Colgate (Dec. 2) and at Syracuse (Jan. 9).
• Was on three-game point streak from Yale (Feb. 9) through Union (Feb. 16).
• Ended with fifth best plus/minus rating on team (+12).
• Blocked 16 shots.


As a Sophomore (2016-17)

• Began the season with two assists in the season-opening 3-1 win over Mercyhurst on Oct. 21 for the first multi-point game of her career and then went on to set career-highs in points (13), goals (3), and assists (10).
• Saw action in all 34 games.
• Was a strong two-way player for the Big Red, winning the third-most face-offs on the team (229) and owning the second-best face-off win percentage (.535) all while accumulating the second-highest blocked shot total amongst forwards (33).
• Put together a three-game point streak in February, earning four assists over the three games.
• Was fourth on the team in shots on goal (74) and finished the year with a plus-3 rating.


As a Freshman (2015-16)

• Had a strong debut season, finishing with seven points on a goal and six assists.
• Got her first-career point in a 2-2 draw with Union on Oct. 31, assisting on the Big Red’s first goal, which helped spark a rally from a two-goal deficit.
• In the next game, a 2-1 win at Princeton on Nov. 6, helped set up the game-tying goal, the first of two Cornell tallies in the final 1:16 of the game.
• Picked up her first-career goal on Jan. 16, opening the scoring in a 2-2 tie with Brown.
• Also added an assist on the game’s first goal in the Big Red’s crucial 3-2 overtime win over rival Harvard on the final day of the regular season.
• Finished the season with 49 shots on goal and 18 blocked shots.


Prior to Cornell

• Alternate captain for the North American Hockey Academy in Stowe, Vermont during her final season.
• Two-time league all-star with the academy and was a part of the team that won the Junior Women’s Hockey League in 2014.
• USA U-18 player development camp all-star in 2013 and 2014 and was an attendee at the USA U-18 August Festival.
• Spent time at two schools in Massachusetts.
• First at Lexington High, was an honor roll member all three years, while also winning the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Citation of Honor Award in 2012.
• Also won the North American Hockey Academy Science Award in 2014.
• Ten-time letter winner, playing ice hockey, lacrosse and soccer.


Personal

• Lenka Slezak Serdar is the daughter of Luka Serdar and Alena Slezak, and she one brother and one sister.
• Her sister, Petra, is a Cornell graduate.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
