2024 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Started in each of 24 matches in her first year... named Ivy League Rookie of the Year by unanimous decision...  named a First Team All-Ivy selection... was named Rookie of the Week five times over the season and Player of the Week on Sept. 23...  ranked 15^th nationally in hitting percentage with a .405 mark and 270 kills in 24 matches and 92 sets... had the highest hitting percentage in the Ivy League... finished second in single season hitting percentage in Cornell history books... contributed 84 total blocks, 22 solo blocks and 20 service aces totaling 335 points on the season... Parsons reached her career-high kills against Yale (11/16) with 21 kills over five sets... recorded career-high seven blocks on Oct. 18 against Penn and five aces on Sept. 28 against Columbia... recorded 12 kills on a .800 hitting percentage, highest in a single game in the Ivy League, against Le Moyne (9/20).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Played four seasons at Poway High School, accumulating 1,347 kills and 305 total blocks … Was the leader for kills in the state of California as a middle blocker during her senior season (587) … named best offensive player for three consecutive seasons (2021-2023) … also played basketball for four seasons, earning League MVP and first team all-league in 2023 for the Titans … was also senior class president and treasurer (2023-24).

PERSONAL
Mackenzie Parsons is the daughter of Tony and Rochelle Parsons and has one brother … she is enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
