Logged 33 appearances on season and recorded 14 points for second consecutive campaign (8-6—14) … had a two-goal effort against Harvard (Jan. 24) for lone multi-goal outing of season … also posted multi-point performances against RPI (Feb. 7 – 1-1—2) and Clarkson (March 22 - 1-1—2), where he scored game-winning to aid Big Red to its second consecutive ECAC Hockey Championship title … netted game-tying goal against Quinnipiac (Jan. 18) … tallied lone power-play goal of season against RPI (Feb. 7) … co-recipient of Crimson Cup at team’s award banquet, sharing honor with Tim Rego after pair tied for team lead for points against Harvard in season (three) ... named to 2025 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

2023-24 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in all 35 games for Big Red, registering 14 points (8+6) ... posted season-long three-game point streak (4-0—4) from Jan. 12-19 ... logged pair of multi-point efforts coming against Princeton (2-0—2 on Jan. 19) and Dartmouth (2-1—3 on March 22) in semifinals of 2024 ECAC Hockey Championship ... three of eight goals on season were empty-net goals, two of which came against Dartmouth in ECAC Hockey semifinals ... netted game-winning goal in opening game of best-of-three quarterfinal series against Harvard (March 15) ... scored Cornell's lone goal in Springfield Regional final contest against Denver (March 30).

2022-23 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Concluded first season with Big Red with 20 points (9+11), tying Dalton Bancroft for team lead in goals (9) ... four-assist game at RPI (Jan. 7), matched program's freshman record set previously by Roy Kerling (1977-78), Mark McRae (1999-00), and Byron Bitz (2003-04) ... three-time ECAC Rookie of the Week honoree (Jan. 4, Jan. 9, and Feb. 13) - matching Bancroft for most by a Big Red player on season ... posted 11 points (3+8) during six-game point streak which nearly spanned a full month (Dec. 29, 2022 - Jan. 20, 2023) ... recorded pair of two-goal games against AIC (Dec. 30) and Union (Feb. 4) ... netted lone game-winning goal of season at St. Lawrence (Nov. 11) ... attempted penalty shot in NCAA Tournament, but was stopped by Denver's Magnus Chrona ... was Cornell's first penalty shot in an NCAA Tournament game since Locke Jillson in 2012 (Michigan).

Nicholas Joseph DeSantis is the son of Michael and Kelly DeSantis, and has an older sister ... fifth player in program history to call Pennsylvania home, joining John Coppage (1957-60), John Detwiler (1957-60), Robert Hammers (1975-76), and Ryan Smart (1994-98) ... enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
