At Cornell
Missen oversees training for the men's ice hockey, softball, golf, and equestrian programs at Cornell. He has been a part of two ECAC Hockey conference championships (2024 and 2025), as well as multiple Ivy League hockey championships and many all-conference performers in various sports.

Before Cornell
Missen joined the Big Red strength and conditioning staff after spending four years at Syracuse, where he spent directed sports performance for men’s lacrosse, women’s ice hockey, and women’s tennis.

Before Syracuse, Missen spent three years as a graduate assistant strength coach at the University of Kentucky, working directly with men’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf, men’s cheer, and was the lead assistant with baseball, swimming and diving, track and field, and men’s soccer.

Personal
Missen resides in Lansing, N.Y., with his wife, Sarah, who previously worked as an athletic trainer at Cornell. The couple has a son, Logan, and daughter, Payton.
