2025 | SENIOR SEASON
Appeared in two games during the season... recorded one assist against Lehigh (02/15/25)... collected one ground ball against Denver (02/22/25)... saw limited action early in the season.

2024 I JUNIOR SEASON
Earned time in nine contests, registering a goal and four assists for five points ... credited with an assist against Denver (2/24/24) ... had a pair of helpers in an Ivy League win over Brown (4/6/24) ... scored his lone goal of the season in the Ivy League Tournament semifinal loss to Penn (5/3/24) ... credited with an assist in a win over Harvard (4/20/24).

2023 l SOPHOMORE SEASON
With seven games played as a sophomore, he recorded a shot-on-goal percentage of .400 … tallied one goal at Army (4/15/23) … had two assists against Dartmouth (4/01/23).

2022 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 12 games for the Big Red in his Freshman campaign ... recorded seven points through four goals and three assists ... saw action in the championship game against Maryland.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Led the Potomac School in both goals in assists in three of the four seasons in which he played (2019, 2020, 2021) ... three-time all-conference honoree as a dual-threat at midfield and attack (2019, 2020, 2021) ... served as a two-time captain of The Potomac School’s team in 2020 and 2021 ... competed on the club circuit for Madlax Capital 2021 ... earned a spot on the 2020 Washington D.C. Under Armour Underclass team ... also played four years of basketball and two years of soccer at The Potomac School ... three-year letterman on the hardwood, being elected team captain as a senior.

PERSONAL
Alexander Franklin Holmes is the son of Andrew and Alison Holmes and has two older siblings, a brother and a sister ... his family has a deep history of competing in intercollegiate athletics, as he has 13 family members that played college sports, including 11 that played men’s or women’s lacrosse ... his father, Andrew, was a member of Duke’s lacrosse team from 1987-91 ... his cousin, Grace Faircloth, is currently a member of Cornell’s women’s lacrosse team ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
