Biography
At Cornell
Junior (2014): Sullivan saw action in 15 games in his first season with the Big Red as one of the team’s long stick defensive midfielders. He also was a member of the team’s face-off unit, playing on the wings. Sullivan picked up nine ground balls, including a season-high three vs. Harvard, and caused seven turnovers on the year.
At UNC
Sullivan played in seven career games over two seasons with the Tarheels, registering two ground balls and one caused turnover.
At Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School
Sullivan was a 2011 Under Armour All-America selection and a two-time first-team high school All-America. He was a three-time All-Western New York selection, a two-time first-team All-Metro selection and was named All-Catholic League four times while leading his high school to a pair of league titles and a state runner-up finish in the Catholic playoffs. He was twice named an Upstate New York Underclass Under Armour All-American and competed in the Empire State Games twice.
Personal
Brian Daniel Patrick Sullivan is the son of Gerald and Kathleen Sullivan. His father played ice hockey at Canisius. His cousin, Caitlin Hanley, was an All-America in track at Williams, while another cousin, Patrick Hanley, played professional basketball for the Quebec National team, as well asbaseball at Gettysburg College. Yet another cousin, Jack Hassett, played basketball at Canisius. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
