Biography
At Cornell
Junior (2016): Kirby saw action in two games during his junior season, playing against Dartmouth and Brown.
Sophomore (2015): Kirby saw action in three games during his sophomore season, playing against Hobart, Dartmouth, and Canisius.
Freshman (2014): Kirby played in five games during his rookie season, seeing action vs. Binghamton, Canisius, Penn, Dartmouth and Brown. He picked up two ground balls on the year, one each vs. the Golden Griffins and the Big Green.Â
At Jericho HS
Kirby was a four-year letter winner at Jericho high school, serving as team captain during his final three seasons. He was a two-time academic all-county selection, an academic all-conference choice and a two-time team Defensive MVP. Kirby also lettered four times in football and twice in wrestling. A three-time captain of the football team, he was named academic all-conference in 2011.
Personal
Chandler Samuel Kirby is the son of Thomas and Jennifer Kirby and has one younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
