Freshman (2016): Clarson did not compete during his rookie season.

Prior to Cornell
A three-year letter winner at Half Hollow Hills High School West, Clarson served as team captain as a senior and won the team’s award for Most Outstanding Athlete. He was selected to participate in the Final 40, a Long Island showcase for rising juniors, as well as the United States Marine Corps Dan Daly Cup All-Star Lacrosse Game. He was also named one of the Top 40 players for Long Island's Brine National Lacrosse Classic team. Clarson also lettered three times in football and basketball, earning him the Section XI Gold Key Award for earning eight varsity letters. He served as the football team’s captain as a senior and was named first-team All-Division, and earned the team’s award for Most Outstanding Athlete.
 
Personal
Cody Christopher Clarson is the son of Thomas and Sandra Clarson and he has one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
