Biography
At Cornell
Junior (2016): Nemirov saw action in two games during his junior season, playing vs. Dartmouth and Brown. He played a total of 21:33 on the year and made two saves while allowing four goals.
Sophomore (2015): Nemirov did not play during his sophomore season.Â
Freshman (2014): Nemirov saw action in one game during his rookie season, playing 1:44 at Dartmouth. He saved the only shot he faced and picked up one ground ball vs. the Big Green.Â
At Ward Melville HS
A three-year letter winner at Ward Melville high school, Nemirov led the Patriots to a perfect 22-0 record during his senior season, winning the school’s first New York State Class A championship since 2000, and finishing the year ranked number one in the Under Armour High School Power Rankings. Following the season, he was named a high school All-American, as well as an MSG Varsity first-team All-Tristate selection and a Newsday second-team All-Long Island selection. Nemirov also lettered twice in football and following his senior season he was named to the Section 11's Golden Eleven team, which recognizes 11 players for outstanding academic and athletic achievement.
Personal
Daniel Alexander Nemirov is the son of Michael and Jamie Nemirov and he has one older brother and one younger sister. His mother, as well as his aunt Randy Musiker and grandfather Seymour Musiker graduated from Cornell. Nemirov is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
