Biography
As a junior (2015-16)
• Averaged 5.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks while shooting 51 percent from the floor in 28 starts.
• Was ninth in the league in rebounds and third in blocked shots.
• Ranked in the top 100 nationally in blocked shots (98th).
• Notched seven points and 11 rebounds in the win at Howard and 10 points and eight boards at home against Columbia.
• Tied a career high with 11 points and added eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks in the win over Lafayette.
• Posted nine points, nine rebounds and three blocks in the win over Siena.
• Had 15 rebounds against Binghamton and Penn State-Harrisburg and 14 rebounds at Colgate.
• Registered a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds with four steals at Brown.
• Blocked a season-high five shots at Penn State-Harrisburg.
As a sophomore (2014-15)

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Onuorah had a promising freshman season, averaging 3.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 54 percent from the floor.
• He played in all 28 contests with 22 starts.
• Onuorah had nine points, 11 rebounds and five blocks against Binghamton in one of his most dominant outings.
• He also had seven points, six rebounds and three assists in an overtime loss to Loyola (MD).
• He blocked at least four shots in four different games, with three of those contests coming in Ivy play.
• He swatted away four shots and three rebounds at eventual Ivy champion Harvard and six points, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the conference win over Dartmouth.
• His 28 blocks rank second among freshman all-time at Cornell.
At Marist HS
• An all-state selection by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association as a senior at Marist HS, Onuorah earned honorable mention all-county honors.
• He received preseason All-Metro honors by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
• Onuorah averaged 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game as a junior and 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds as a sophomore.
• He was named the team’s defensive player of the year in his final year.
Personal
• David William Onuorah is the son of Chinedu and Maria Onuorah and has two older sisters, a younger sister and two younger brothers.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
