Biography

As a graduate student (2022)

• Named to the Inside Lacrosse honorable mention All-America team.
• Has played in all 16 games for the Big Red in 2022.
• Has posted 13 caused turnovers with 40 ground balls.
• Scooped four ground balls in season opening win over UAlbany.
• Collected four ground balls in the win at Lehigh.
• Won four ground balls against No. 7 Yale.
• Caused a pair of turnovers in three straight games (vs. Army West Point, vs. Brown, at Princeton).
• Collected four ground balls against No. 5 Yale.
• Caused a turnover in the NCAA first round win over Ohio State..


As a junior (2020)

• Appeared in all five games on the Big Red’s defensive midfield in a shortened junior season due to COVID-19.
• Picked up multiple ground balls in four of Cornell’s five contests, including a career-high four ground balls against Towson on Feb. 21.
• Tallied two ground balls and a caused turnover in Cornell’s thrilling victory over then-No. 2 Penn State on March 8.
• Finished the season with 11 ground balls and a caused turnover.

As a sophomore (2019)

• Saw action in 14 games during his sophomore season.
• Picked up 14 ground balls on the year.
• Registered a season-high three ground balls vs. Syracuse.
• Caused four turnovers on the year.
• Tallied his first career assist with a helper at Harvard.

As a freshman (2018)

• Saw action in 17 games as one of the team’s primary defensive midfielders.
• Caused four turnovers on the season.
• Picked up eight ground balls.
• Had a season-high two ground balls at Lehigh.

Prior to Cornell

• Bardwell played lacrosse for Wilton High School before finishing his prep career at Lawrenceville School.
• Served as team captain for both Wilton and Lawrenceville.
• Three-time first-team all-state selection.
• Named MVP of Maverick Showtime All-Star Game.
• Helped Wilton to the 2013 Connecticut state championship.
• Also ran track at Wilton.
