2026 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Started in all 36 appearances, tying Caden Wildman for most games started ... batted .294 (37-for-126) with three doubles, two home runs, and 17 RBI ... his 37 hits ended in a four-way tie for team lead with Mason Barela, Kevin Hager, and Caden Wildman ... was hit by a pitch 13 times, tied for third-highest single-season total in program history ... opened season with hits in first five games and eight of first nine contests ... collected three consecutive multi-hit games between March 1-7, concluding Richmond series by going 2-for-3 before opening first two games at Fordham with two hits apiece ... had season-high three hits at Penn (April 11) and against Columbia (May 2) ... had five multi-RBI games, including a season-high three RBI at VMI (March 14) ... hit first collegiate home run at Fordham (March 7) and also hit a home run at Princeton (March 22) ... stole five bases on season and posted a .989 fielding percentage in the outfield (one error in 88 total chances).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Four-year letterwinner in baseball at McDowell HS, earning All-Region and All-District 10 honors ... was also named Team MVP during his senior year ... also earned three varsity letters in football, captaining team during senior year, and also received All-Region and All-District 10 honors.

PERSONAL
Jake William Hower is the son of Rob and Rebecca Hower, and has an older brother, Jackson, who was four-year member of Dartmouth's baseball team (2021-25) ... grandfather (baseball) and grandmother (swimming) were both student-athletes at Cornell, graduating in class of 1968 ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
