Sophomore (2016): Jannicelli saw action in one game during his sophomore season, playing against Dartmouth.

Freshman (2015): Jannicelli saw action in one game during his rookie season, playing against Dartmouth.  

Prior to Cornell
Jannicelli was an Under Armour Underclassman All-American in 2013. He lettered three times at Seton Hall Prep before attending The Hun School of Princeton for a post-graduate year, where he served as team captain. Jannicelli served as team captain during the 2013 season and was named US Lacrosse Academic All-American, All-Essex county second-team, honorable mention all-state, and All-Fitch Pitt first-team that same season. Jannicelli also lettered three times in football, earning all-conference and all-county honors, and served his team as captain during his senior year.
 
Personal
James Matthew Jannicelli Jr. is the son of Jim and Elissa Jannicelli and he has two brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
