Career

Dowiak was named honorable mention All-American and first-team All-Ivy as a senior captain. He had a stellar 2018 season, ranking third on the team in both goals (40) and points (47). With his four-goal performance vs. Maryland in the NCAA quarterfinals, he became just the third midfielder in Cornell history, and just the ninth in the history of the Ivy League, to register 40 goals in a single season.  A force out of the midfield, Dowiak finished the 2018 season as the sixth highest scoring midfield in the nation, and his 23-game goal scoring streak was good for fifth in the nation. He helped the Big Red to an Ivy League Tournament championship (2018), an Ivy League title (2015) and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2015, 2018).

As a junior (2017)

• Had a breakout junior campaign starting 10 games and playing in all 13 on the Big Red’s offensive midfield.
• Finished with career-highs in goals (20), assists (8) and points (28)
• Ranked third on the team in goals and fourth overall in points. 
• Had at least one point in all but two games and finished with multiple points on seven occasions.
• Posted a career-high five goals vs. Virginia and posted five points (two goals, three assists) vs. Brown.
• Was also a valuable member of the team’s face-off unit, playing on the wing.
• Picked up 28 ground balls, including a season-high four on three occasions.
• Caused seven turnovers on the year.

As a sophomore (2016)
• Saw action in 12 games as a sophomore.
• Made his first collegiate start vs. Penn State.
• Finished the year with four goals and three assists.
• Posted a season-high two points twice, registering one goal and one assist in back-to-back games against Albany and Virginia.
• Picked up seven ground balls on the year.

As a freshman (2015)
• Saw significant playing time as a rookie as a member of the second line offensive midfield.
• Played in 15 games and finished the year with two goals and two assists.
• Scored against Binghamton, and Albany during the NCAA tournament, and handed out one assist against both Hobart and the Great Danes during the regular season.
• Picked up four ground balls and caused one turnover.  

At Delbarton School
• A 2014 U.S. Lacrosse All-American.
• Lettered three times at Delbarton School.
• Helped Delbarton to back-to-back NJ Morris County championships and a pair of Non-Public A NJ State championships (2012, 2014).
• As a senior captain, earned all-state and first-team all-conference honors and helped Delbarton to the 2014 NJ Tournament of Champions.
• A 2013 NSCLA All-American.
• Was a three-time Battle of the Hotbeds all-star game selection.
• A two-time New Jersey Under Armour team member.
• Lettered once in track and played soccer.
 
Personal
• Jordan Allan Dowiak is the son of Allan and Judy Dowiak and he has two older brothers and one older sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
