• Bayless was a second-team all-district selection as a senior at Woodrow Wilson HS.
• Averaged 4,7 points and 4.6 rebounds as a senior for a 29-5 squad that finished ranked among the state's top 25 teams.
• Shot 54 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the free-throw line.
• He served as varsity captain his final season.
• Averaged 3.0 points and 3.7 rebounds as a junior.

• Joseph Reed Bayless is the son of Holly Bayless and has a younger brother.
