At Cornell
Junior (2014): Huttner played in all 16 games as one of the Big Red’s starting short-stick defensive midfielders during his junior season. He picked up 19 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers on the year. Huttner registered the first points of his collegiate career, scoring a man-down goal vs. Colgate and handing out one assist vs. Dartmouth. 

Sophomore (2013): Huttner saw action in all 18 games of his sophomore campaign as a member of the Big Red’s defensive midfield. He finished the year with eight ground balls, including a season-high two at Dartmouth, and registered one caused turnover, also against the Big Green. 

Freshman (2012): Huttner saw significant playing time during his rookie season, seeing action in all 13 games. He was an integral part of the 15th best defensive unit in the country as one of the team’s defensive short-stick midfielders. Huttner picked up seven ground balls on the season, including a season-high two ground balls against both Penn and Syracuse.

At Rumson Fair Haven HS
A high school All-American, Huttner lettered four times at Rumson Fair Haven HS. He was named the 2011 Shore Conference Player of the Year after helping his team to the Shore Conference championship. As a senior captain, he was selected first-team all-state and earned his fourth consecutive all-division honor. Hutter was also a two-time first-team All-Shore selection, after being a second-team choice as a sophomore. He also lettered three times in football.

Personal
Michael Christian Huttner is the son of Len and Lauren Huttner and he has one older and one younger sister. Both his father and uncle, Bill Huttner, played football for Union College in the early 1980s. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
