Tambroni on Cahill: "Tee took huge strides this fall and is in position to vie for quality playing time at the short stick defensive midfield position. He is a passionate player and that will serve us well in our midfield."

At Cornell: Cahill transitioned from an offensive to a defensive midfielder prior to his junior season and earned an increase in playing time, seeing action in seven games during the year. He picked up one ground ball vs. Harvard. Cahill played in three games as a sophomore and recorded his fist collegiate point with an assist vs. Army. He saw action in two games as a freshman.

At The Hotchkiss School: A Top 205 all-star, Cahill earned a combined 10 varsity letters in lacrosse, hockey and football at The Hotchkiss School. He was named to the 2004 first-team all-New England lacrosse team and also participated in the East-West all-star game his senior year. As a junior, Cahill helped his team claim the New England championship after the squad claimed the league title the previous season.

Personal: Anthony Bernard Cahill is the son of Tony and Cindy Cahill and is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He has two younger sisters.
