At Cornell
Junior (2014): Joyce saw action in two games during his junior season, playing against Canisius and Dartmouth. In 10:35 of action, he faced four shots but was not required to make a save. Joyce picked up one ground ball vs. the Big Green. 

Sophomore (2013): Joyce saw action in two games, playing a total of 8:50 against Siena and Dartmouth. He made his first collegiate save against the Saints. 

Freshman (2012): Joyce did not play during his rookie season.

Landon School/Salisbury School
Joyce lettered three times at the Landon School before attending the Salisbury School for a post-graduate season. He was a high school All-American in 2010, as well as a High School All-Tewaaraton Team selection. He led Landon to three IAC championships and served as team captain during his MVP senior season. Joyce was named All-IAC, first-team All-Metropolitan Area and the Washington Post Montgomery County Player of the Year. He was also named second-team all-state and played in the Maryland Senior All-Star game. At Salisbury, he was named All-New England and played in the East/West Senior All-Star game. Joyce also lettered three times in both football and hockey.

Personal
William Martin Joyce is the son of Tiger and Eda Joyce and he has one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
