As a junior (2019-20)
Dual season
• Went 7-1 in singles play, going 6-1 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 1.
• Tallied a 4-4 doubles record, playing mostly at No. 1.
• Earned one ranked win, defeating #51 Kareem Allaf of Iowa in three sets, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.
• In doubles, combined with Vladislav Melnic to defeat #12 Davies/Okonkwo of Iowa, 7-5.
As a sophomore (2018-19)
Dual season
• Earned All-Ivy League first team recognition in singles after posting a 9-7 record in dual matches, competing exclusively at the No. 1 position.
• Ranked seventh in singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in the Northeast Region for the year.
• Was 3-2 in Ivy League singles matches, including a three-set victory over Dartmouth's Charlie Broom, who was ranked 60th in the country at the time.
• Finished second on the team in doubles victories with a 10-7 record, often competing at the No. 1 position alongside Eero Vasa.
• Was 4-2 in Ivy League doubles play while competing with Lev Kazakov at the No. 2 spot.
Fall tournaments
• Won Canada F6 Futures event in September.
• Advanced into Round of 16 in singles at Champaign Challenger in November.
• One of eight singles selections to the elite field for the USTA Blizzard Wild Card event in December, finishing 1-2 in pool play with a victory over UCLA's Keegan Smith.
As a freshman (2017-18)
Dual season
• Named Ivy League Rookie of the Year, becoming just third Cornellian to win the honor since its inaugural presentation in 1999.
• Earned All-Ivy League second team recognition in singles after posting a 10-8 record in dual matches.
• Primarily competed at the No. 2 singles position with one victory over nationally ranked opponent, Clemson's Simon Baudry, on Feb. 4.
• Won in three sets to clinch the Big Red's 4-3 upset victory at 42nd-ranked Iowa on March 2.
• Was 3-3 in Ivy League singles play with victories over opponents from Penn, Yale and Brown.
• Posted a 7-12 record in doubles, playing in all three positions with a number of different partners.
Prior to Cornell
• Ranked the No. 3 recruit in the nation and No. 1 in the Southwest by TennisRecruiting.net.
• Carried a No. 27 International Tennis Federation Junior World Ranking at time of enrollment at Cornell.
• 2017 Easter Bowl Champion.
• Won California state titles while competing with Westview HS in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

• Olukayode Alafia Ayeni is the son of Anthony Ayeni and Pamela Hinkson Ayeni, and he has one brother and one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
