Biography
As a senior (2021-22)
• One of team's tri-captains, serving as elder statesman of team's vaunted defensive corps.
• Lone goal of season served as the game-winner Feb. 12 at Union.
• Recorded an assist Jan. 8 at North Dakota in a game played near hometown of Fargo, N.D.
As a senior (2020-21)
• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a junior (2019-20)
• Chipped in with three assists in 23 games after a late start to the season due to injury.
• Became established as one of team's best penalty-killing defensemen.
• Two of season's three points came during final weekend of play in victories over St. Lawrence and Clarkson.
As a sophomore (2018-19)
• Recorded career-high six points on one goal and five assists in 20 games before suffering a season-ending injury in early February.
• Progressively ascended into top-four role among defensemen before season's end.
• Scored lone goal during first period of team's 4-0 win Feb. 1 at Union.
As a freshman (2017-18)
• Played in 32 of team's 33 games, which was tops among team's newcomers on the blue line.
• On ice for just four goals against at even strength, leading to a plus-14 rating that was tied for sixth-best in the country for freshman defensemen.
• All three points came in final two months of season, including first collegiate goal in Cleary Cup-clinching victory Feb. 23 at Rensselaer.
• First collegiate point came on assist of Brenden Locke's game-winning, power-play goal late in the third period of a Feb. 2 win vs. Union.
• Scored team's final goal of a 9-1 rout against Quinnipiac in Game 1 of an ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinal series on March 9.
Prior to Cornell
• Recorded 28 points on four goals and 24 assists in 60 games for hometown Fargo Force of the USHL in 2016-17.
• Won Manitoba Junior Hockey League championship in 2015-16 season, putting up similar numbers with Portage Terriers.
• Rookie of the year and captain of Ronald H. Davies High School team in Fargo.

• Cody James Haiskanen is the son of Jeff and Camilla Haiskanen, and he has two brothers.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
