As a junior (2019-20)

Dual season
• Went 5-2 in singles, including a 5-1 record at No. 1.
• Wen 1-1 against ranked opponents, defeating #59 Ronan Jachuck of Harvard, 6-3, 6-4.
Fall tournaments
• Went 2-1 at the ITA Northeast Regional, advancing to the round of 16.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

Dual season
• Went 6-6 in singles playing at Nos. 3, 4 and 5.
• Was 6-8 in doubles playing at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions.
• Paired up with Alafia Ayeni, Joseph McAllister and Pietro Rimondi. Went 5-4 while playing alongside Ayeni.
Fall tournaments
• Went 2-2 overall in Fall singles at the Ivy-Plus Invitational and was 1-1 at the ITA Northeast Regional.

Prior to Cornell

• Competed with UCF for one year, teaming up with Korey Lovett in doubles with a 15-2 record from the No. 1 position.
• Finished the year with a national ranking of seventh and All-American Athletic Conference first team honors..
• Posted an 8-10 record from the lower half of the order in singles with the Knights.
• Prior to UCF tenure, was ranked as high as No. 52 in the ITA Junior rankings.
• Had a best ATP World ranking of 1,089th.
• Was selected three times to Finland's Davis Cup team.
• Won Finland's Under-21 national championship and finished second in his native country's overall men's championship in 2014.

Personal

• Eero Ilmari Vasa is the son of Juha and Maija Vasa, and he has two brothers.
• Enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
