As a senior (2018-19)

Dual season
• Had a 2-3 record in singles playing at No. 5 and No. 6.
• Was 8-3 in doubles including a 7-2 record at No. 2.
• Finished the year ranked 80th in the nation in doubles alongside Daniel Soyfer.
Fall season
• Held a 2-3 overall record in singles with a pair of wins to reach the Round of 32 in the ITA Northeast Regional.
• Was 3-2 in doubles alongside Pietro Rimondini, winning twice in the Ivy-Plus Invitational and once to advance to the Round of 32 in regionals.

As a junior (2017-18)

Dual season
• Tied for the team lead in singles victories with a 10-5 record from the bottom two spots in the order — including a 7-1 mark at No. 5.
• Won seven straight singles matches to reach completion from March 4 to April 15, including four three-set affairs.
• Was 5-1 in Ivy League play from the No. 5 position with straight-set wins in the Big Red's upset of Harvard and in the match against eventual champion Dartmouth.
• 6-12 in doubles, including a 3-7 when competing with Lev Kazakov at the No. 1 position.
Fall tournaments
• 2-4 in singles, reaching the Round of 32 at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships.
• 2-3 in doubles alongside Lev Kazakov, with the duo finishing seventh in the Orange bracket at the Ivy Plus Invitational and a berth in the Round of 32 at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Transferred to East Hill after two years at Rice, where he was named the Conference-USA Freshman of the Year in 2016 and earned second-team all-conference honors in both singles (2016 and 2017) and doubles (2017).
• Was 16-6 in singles from primarily the No. 3 position during sophomore season, and was also 14-6 in doubles with a Midland Invitational doubles title in the fall.
• Coming out of IMG Academy, was ranked No. 2 in Texas and No. 20 nationally by the Tennis Recruiting Network.
• Competed at St. Stephens Academy for three years.

Personal

• Jacob Cullen Hansen is the son of Tim and Nancy Hansen, and he has one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
