Biography
2009-10
During his junior season, Klis was a part of Cornell’s No. 2 doubles team, where he went 13-9 on the season and 3-3 in Ivy League action. Klis also competed as a singles player, seeing action at the bottom half of the order for the Big Red and posted a singles record of 7-11 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
2008- 09
Klis and teammate Mark Asch emerged as one of the best doubles teams in the Ivy League. The duo went 12-5 at No. 3 doubles, which included a seven match winning streak that started on February 27.
2007-08
Kliz was a doubles specialist for Cornell last season, tying for the team lead with seven wins. Partnering with Marc Asch, Kliz posted big wins against Army, Dartmouth and Penn, and almost pulled of the upset at No. 31 South Florida, losing a heartbreaker 9-8. During the fall, Kliz advanced to the round of 16 in the Flight A draw at the Cornell Fall Indoor Tournament.

Klis is a graduate of Sacred Heart Prep.
Personal
Mirza Klis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Izudin Klis and has one younger sister. Klis is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Arts and Science.
