Appeared in nine games for the Big Red, playing a vital role on defense ... Finished the season with 24 total tackles, including 17 solo and seven assists ... Howard was a four-year varsity safety at Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa HS … one-time regional champion … earned all-region and all-area accolades twice … two-time best defensive back on the team … ran four years of track and field … state champion in the indoor 4x200 ... four-time state finalist at 400 meters … named academic all-star after earning honor roll all of HS.

Braylon Jakari Howard is the son of Danyale Jones and Makarios Howard and has three brothers … related to Kobe Jones, a defensive end for the Carolina Panthers … he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
