At Cornell
Junior (2011): Zheng was not on the roster during the 2011 season.
Sophomore (2010): Zheng saw action in just five matches, with one start as a sophomore. She handed out 29 assists over 10 sets (2.9 spg) and finished the year with 58 digs, 35 blocks and three service aces.
Freshman (2009): As a freshman, Zheng served as the back-up setter, seeing action in 14 matches and playing in 26 sets. She finished the year ranked second on the team with 141 assists (5.42 per set), to go along with 38 digs, eight blocks and six service aces. She posted double-digit assists four times, led the team in assists on two occasions and handed out a career-high 36 assists vs. Brown on Oct. 17.
Before Cornell
Zheng spent three years playing volleyball in China from 2006-2008 before earning one letter in volleyball at Plano West. She helped her team to an area and district championship and was named the team captain of her club team, Dallas Synergy.
Personal
Lucy Qiong Zheng is the daughter of Yong Zheng and Ping Li and has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
