Biography
At Cornell
Freshman (2012-13): Bockrath registered the most playing time of any freshman during the 2012-13 season, seeing action in 15 games and averaging 8.6 minutes per outing. She finished the year with 24 points and 16 rebounds to go along with five assists, four steals and one blocked shot. Bockrath saw her first playing time of the season against Syracuse, connecting on her first collegiate 3-pointer against the Orange. She registered a season-high five points against Manhattan and then matched that effort with five points and a season-high four rebounds at Penn on Feb. 22. Bockrath saw more playing time as the season progressed, reaching double-digit minutes in five of the seven Ivy League contests in which she played.
At Archbishop Alter
Bockrath was a four-year letter winner at Archbishop Alter, where she helped her team to the Ohio state championship final four in 2010 after finishing as the state runner-up in 2009. She was a three-time All-Girls Greater Catholic League selection and was named first-team All-Southwest Ohio in 2012. Bockrath was named academic all-district four times. As a member of the Ohio Lady Attack AAU team, she won both a state and national championship in 2011. Bockrath also lettered twice in volleyball.
Personal
Allison Austria Bockrath is the daughter of David and Ann Bockrath and she has one older brother and one older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
