Hill spent two seasons as a member of the Big Red, but was sidelined due to injury for all but one contest. She will take a new role with the squad going forward, serving as a student assistant coach. 
 
At Montville HS
Hill earned four varsity letters at Montville high school, serving as team captain her senior season. She was named the 2014 Connecticut East Region Player of the Year after finishing the season as the Eastern Connecticut Conference’s leading scorer. Hill was a three-time first-team All-Eastern Connecticut Conference selection and was a two-time first-team all-state honoree, as well as being named to the Connecticut East Regional All-Star Team twice. She registered more than 1,000 points during her career and shot 42 percent from three-point range. Hill was also a first-team Academic All-State selection and won the CIAC Scholar-Athlete award.
 
Personal
Jamie Lynne Hill is the daughter of Jeffrey and Lynne Hill and she has one older brother. She comes from a long line of basketball players as her father (Harvard), mother (Connecticut College) and Uncle Michael Hill (Yale) all played collegiately. Her father served as the Crimson captain during the 1976-77 season and is a New England Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, while her uncle was the Bulldog’s team captain during the 1982-83 campaign. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.Â
