Biography

Gregg is a pure shooter who works incredibly hard and saw her role on the team expand last season as she saw significant playing time and earned 11 starts. As one of only two three-time letter winners on the team this season, Gregg will be looked at to provide leadership.

At Cornell
Gregg saw action in 25 games, making 11 starts during her junior season. She averaged 4.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. She scored a season-high 11 points, shooting 4-of-6 from the floor vs. Colgate, and matched that performance with 11 points vs. Penn on Jan. 12. Gregg led the team in rebounding on three occasions, including a season-high performance with nine caroms vs. Wagner. Gregg saw action in 22 games as a sophomore, getting four starts. She had two of her best performances of the year in non-conference games vs. Bucknell and Syracuse. Against the Bison, she tied a career-high with 10 rebounds and scored a then season-high nine points. Gregg improved on that performance vs. the Orange, playing a career-high 37 minutes and registering the second double-double of her career with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Gregg had a strong freshman season, leading the Big Red in both field goal and 3-point field goal percentage, connecting on 39 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. She earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors on February 28 after recording a career-best 14 points in back-to-back games against Penn on Feb. 25 and Princeton on Feb. 26. During that same game against Penn, she collected 10 rebounds en route to her lone double-double performance of the season.

At East Forest
Gregg averaged 22.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.8 assists per game for East Forest HS as a senior under Coach Dave Kiehl and was named to the Class A all-state first team. A four-year starter in both basketball and volleyball, Gregg is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,688 career points. She scored a school-record 38 points in the 2003 North Clarion Christmas Tournament championship game.
