Kristina Danielak Career Statistics
At Cornell
Junior (2011-12): Danielak saw action in 27 games during her junior season, getting the start at Brown on Feb. 11. She finished the year averaging 2.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. Danielak shot a team-best 55.4 percent from the field and ranked second on the team and 12
th in the Ivy League with 18 blocks. She finished the year ranking 10th in Cornell history with 49 blocks for her career. Danielak’s putback layup with :29 to play against Colgate gave the Big Red the 57-56 lead and set up Cornell’s 59-56 victory over the Raiders. Danielak registered a season-high eight points against both South Dakota and Cleveland State and a season-high seven rebounds against both Colgate and Columbia on Jan. 21.
Sophomore (2010-11): Danielak moved into a starting role during her sophomore season, getting the nod in 20 games and playing in all 28 contests on the year. She made her first career start vs. Canisius and went on to finish the season with 4.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She also blocked a team-high 22 shots and ranked 10th in the Ivy League in blocked shots per game (0.79). Danielak scored in double figures four times and pulled down double-digit rebounds once, earning her first career double-double vs. Ithaca (14 points, 13 rebounds). She led the Big Red in scoring once on the season with 11 points vs. Bucknell.
Freshman (2009-10): Danielak saw significant playing time during her rookies season, playing in 25 games and averaging more than 10 minutes per contest. She finished the year averaging 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Defensively, she blocked nine shots and came up with four steals on the season. Danielak had her best outing of the season with career highs in points (11) and rebounds (7) vs. Ithaca College. She led the Big Red in rebounding on two occasions, grabbing seven boards against the Bombers and five caroms at Manhattan.
At Liberty Hill High School
Danielak was a three-year letter winner at Liberty Hill high school and was a first-team all-district selection her junior season. As a senior captain she led her team to a district championship. Danielak also earned academic all-district honors three times. She also lettered three times in both volleyball and track and field. She was a first-team all-district selection in volleyball and a three time regional qualifier in the 800-meter relay, 300-meter hurdles and the mile relay. She holds the school record in both the 300-meter hurdles and the mile relay.
Personal
Kristina Elizabeth Danielak is the daughter of Ray and Letty Danielak and she has one younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
