Biography
As a senior (2019-20)
• Appeared in 16 games as a senior, getting the starting nod against Princeton on March 7.
• Played an average of 5.3 minutes per contest.
• Tallied 13 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and five steals over the course of the season.
• Scored a season-high four points to go along with two rebounds against NJIT on Nov. 16.
• Posted a career-high three assists while adding three rebounds against Princeton on March 7.
• Collected a career-high two steals against Princeton on Feb. 7.
As a junior (2018-19)
• Saw action in 10 games, including six Ivy League contests.
• Averaged 4.1 minutes per contest.
• Finished the season with seven points, five rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
• Handed out six assists on the year.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Played in 15 games, including 10 Ivy League contests.
• Finished the season with 1.8 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.
• Averaged 6.2 minutes per game.
• First forward off the bench at Brown on Feb. 24.
• Registered double-digits once, with a career-high 12 points (5-of-6) at Yale on Feb. 23.
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Saw action in 10 games during her rookie season, including six Ivy League contests.
• Scored her first collegiate points vs. Canisius.
• Finished the season with four points and handed out two assists.
• Grabbed a season-high three rebounds in the season-opener vs. New Hampshire and averaged 1.1 rebounds per game.
• Averaged 3.2 minutes per game.
Prior to Cornell
• A four-year letter winner at Putnam Valley High School.
• Served as team captain in each of her final three seasons.
• Led her team to the 2016 NY Section 1 Class B Final Four after winning the league title during her senior season.
• Was a three-time first-team all-league selection and was named the league Player of the Year as a senior.
• Was also named to the New York all-state fourth team, the Journal News All-LoHud team, and was selected to the 2016 Section 1 Final 4 Class B All-Tournament Team.
• Was also a two-time all-section honoree and won the NY Section 1's Isabel Costa Award, an academic award honoring a student athlete's commitment to basketball, school, and the community.
• Lettered three times in volleyball at Putnam Valley.
Personal
• Reena Jessica Olsen is the daughter Michael and Marie Olsen and she has one younger sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
