Abby Anne Ruggiero is the daughter of Thomas and Laura Ruggiero… has three older siblings, a sister, Emma, and two brothers, Ryan and Tommy… her sister, a 2018-19 captain of the Buffalo State women’s ice hockey team, played for the NWHL’s Buffalo Beauts in 2019-20… her grandfather, Patrick Ruggiero, played professional baseball in Kansas City (1954)… her uncles, Rick and Pat Ruggiero, played college baseball for Niagara and Canisius, respectively… on the Academic Honor Roll all four years of school at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart… she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
