As a Senior (2015-16)Zorn was once again a solid contributor to the Big Red’s offense as a senior, recording a career-high 43 shots on goal. She finished the season with two goals and an assist, tallying the Big Red’s only goal in a loss to St. Lawrence on Jan. 23 before netting the game-winner on the power play in a crucial 4-2 win at Brown on Feb. 12. She also added an assist on a goal just 1:45 into Cornell’s 4-1 loss to Quinnipiac on Feb. 5.
As a Junior (2014-15)Zorn posted a strong conclusion to her junior season, scoring three of her five points on the year in the final three weeks of the year. She tallied her first goal of the year – a power play tally – in the final game of the regular season against Union. She added a major goal to spark a furious third period comeback in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal Game Two against St. Lawrence. Zorn added an assist in the team’s loss to Harvard in the ECAC Hockey Tournament Final.
As a Sophomore (2013-14)Zorn spent most of her time on the third line this season and contributed her solid play with four goals and four assists for eight points. She was one of just seven players to appear in all 34 games this season. She had two two-point games, including one goal and one assist in the Big Red’s 8-1 victory against Union Nov. 9 and one goal and one assist in Cornell’s 6-3 win against Yale Jan. 31.
As a Freshman (2012-13)Zorn saw plenty of playing time on the Big Red’s third line in her first year with the team, racking up four goals and four assists for eight points. She scored a goal in her first career game at Boston University on Oct. 20, and she had a career-high two points in two separate games. Despite missing a chunk of the season after winter break due to injury, Zorn came back with a bang, scoring a goal on her first shift in two months just seconds after a faceoff against Union.
Before CornellA tall forward with great scoring instincts, Zorn attended to United States U-16 development camps in 2010 and 2011. Playing club hockey with the Rochester EDGE, Zorn won state championships in 2006, 2009 and 2011 while also serving as captain her last year. Zorn also played four years of soccer in high school as well as two years of softball, and she was named First Team All-County in 2010 for both sports.
PersonalAnna Christine Zorn is the daughter of Chris and Kate Daly. Her older sister Liz Zorn '10 played women's hockey at Cornell for four years and scored the sixth-most power play goals in the NCAA era in school history. She has another older sister, Sara, an older brother, Scott, and a younger brother, Jeremiah.
