Prior to Cornell
Duffy was a five-time letter winner for Benilde-St. Margaret’s HS, and was academic all-conference in 2008. She served as her team’s alternate captain her junior season, and was named the MVP of the Minnesota girl’s hockey state championship game in 2004. Duffy helped her team to the state championships in 2004, 2007 and 2008, and attended the USA hockey girl’s 15/16 select player development camp in 2006. She was also a five-time letter winner in lacrosse, and participated in the Minnesota girl’s lacrosse all-star game. Duffy was named all-conference in lacrosse in 2007, as well as being named a US lacrosse academic All-American. She was the recipient of the United States Army National Scholar/Athlete Achievement award, and also was awarded Summa Cum Laude honors.

Ashley Ann Duffy is the daughter of Dana Duffy, and she is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
