Kim Insalaco

Kim Insalaco, a 2006 Olympian, begins her third season as an assistant coach for the Big Red this year. As a forward, she is a veteran of two World Championships, and made her Olympic debut in Torino, Italy in 2006 with Team USA, winning a bronze medal.

As an undergrad, Insalaco played for Brown, where upon completing her four-year career in 2003, she totaled 127 points with 45 goals and 82 assists. She was a two-time captain for the Bears, and as a junior, she scored the game-winning goal in the ECACHL's championship game and the winner in the national semifinal game against Minnesota. She led Brown to two ECAC champsionships and competed in two NCAA Frozen Fours.

After graduating from Brown, the Rochester, N.Y. native played two seasons for the Oakville Ice of the National Women's Hockey League in Canada.
