Biography
Ivy League Honorable Mention Team (2013)
As a Senior (2012-13)
Barley-Maloney became a crucial part of the Big Red offense in her final season with the team, centering Cornell’s second line for much of the season. She was vital to the Big Red’s important 3-1 win over Harvard in February, assisting on all three Cornell goals. One game earlier, she added three more points on a goal and two assists against Princeton to help Cornell stay on top of the Ivy League. She was named to the All-Ivy Honorable Mention team at the conclusion of the regular season.
As a Junior (2011-12)
Barley-Maloney sat for the first three games of the 2011-12 season but played consistently after that and has improved as the season went on. On Nov. 18 against Princeton, Barley-Maloney earned her first point at Cornell, assisting on a goal. The next day at Quinnipiac, she tallied another assist. After January, Barley-Maloney went been on a tear. She started the calendar year with a four-point game at Union, scoring two goals and assisting on two more. She had multi-point games at Clarkson, vs. Union, vs. Mercyhurst and at Brown in the regular season, but her biggest moment was scoring the overtime game-winner at Dartmouth on Jan. 21. Barley-Maloney also added three points in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series against Brown and became a mainstay of the Big Red's second line.
Before Cornell

In her senior year, she was an assistant captain of the team, a Founders League All-Star, and the NEPSAC girls' hockey player of the year. She also played for the Connecticut Polar Bears while at Taft. Prior to her move to the East Hill, Barley-Maloney played two years at the University of Vermont.
