2021 l JUNIOR SEASON
Third on the team in kills per set (2.78) while starting in 19 of the team's 22 matches ... third in service aces (16) and added 17 blocks, 12 assists and 147 digs ... opened the season with a career-high 15 kills and 18 digs in a win over St. John's, one of four double-doubles on the season ... had 13 kills on .343 hitting with eight digs in a victory over Colgate ... posted 11 kills on .300 hitting at Princeton ... named to the Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel Volleyball Classic all-tournament team.

2019 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in 20 matches for Cornell as a freshman, making 17 starts ... owned Cornell’s best receiving percentage (.950), committing only 17 errors on 340 attempts ... one of Cornell’s top serving threats, sitting second on the team in aces (21) and averaging 0.32 per set, a mark which ranked third in the Ivy League ... excelled in the back row, ranking third on the team in digs (172) and digs per set (2.65) ... also a key attacker for Cornell, sitting third on the team in kills per set (2.20) ... registered double-digit kills on five occasions, including a collegiate-best 12 kills against Columbia on Sept. 18 ... hit a career-best .476 against the Lions, earning herself Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 30 ... collected double-digit digs seven times, including a career-high 19 against Saint Mary’s on Sept. 13 and Princeton on Nov. 1 ... also tallied a career-high 15.5 points with 11 kills and a collegiate-best 4.0 blocks against Saint Mary’s, securing her first collegiate double-double ... notched four dig-kill double-doubles on the season ... named to the Blue and White Classic All-Tournament team.

Four-year letter winner at Brecksville-Broadview Heights HS ... helped her team to the 2016 State Championship ... named first-team All-Ohio in 2018, after a second-team selection in 2017 ... member of the AVC Volleyball Club.

Joanna Yue Chang is the daughter of Zhaoxia Liu and Yunhai Chang and she has one sister ... she is enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences.
