2024-25 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 31 games on the year... registered 20 points on 11 goals and nine assists... led the team in post-season goals with four... was named ECAC Hockey Forward of The Week following Cornell's quarterfinal sweep over Union.

2023-24 I FRESHMAN SEASON 
Saw action in 31 games… registered 24 points on the year by way of 11 goals and 13 assists... named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team... notched Second Team All-Ivy...had four multi-point games... scored the game-winner against Yale to clinch the Ivy League title... put in the OT game-winner against Quinnipiac in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals to help Cornell advance. 

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Claimed an NAPHA Championship in 2019-20… two-time assistant captain… aided in a 2021-22 FWSSC Championship… won the 2022-23 NAHA Labour Day tournament… honored with the 2022-23 Ross Trophy MVP Award… three-time academic achievement award recipient… was a multi-sport athlete (hockey, rugby, track, lacrosse).
 
PERSONAL
Karel Marjorie Préfontaine is the daughter of Sonia Bartrand and Eric Préfontaine and has an older sister and brother… she is enrolled in the college of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
