As a Junior (2014)
Gniewek split time in the crease this year, but started six-of-11 games she played in. She had a season-high 11 saves in the Big Red’s 11-10 overtime victory against Brown, which proved to be a crucial conference win to get the Cornell into the Ivy League Tournament. She finished the season with a 9.93 goals-against average and had 60 saves for a .438 save percent. She also recorded 11 ground balls and one caused turnover.  

As a Sophomore (2013)
Gniewek played nine games for the Big Red in her sophomore year, coming up huge in Ivy League games against Brown and Yale to help Cornell clinch a spot in the conference tournament. She made a career-high 14 saves against No. 5 Syracuse, and she also added 10 saves against Yale. She played a career-best 331 minutes in 2013, recording a 9.23 goals against average and a .469 save percentage, both the best numbers on Cornell's roster.

As a Freshman (2012)
Gniewek participated in seven games as a freshman and even started the Ivy League Tournament semifinals game against Dartmouth on May 4. Gniewek recorded 28 saves in her freshman campaign, earned an 8.85 goals against average and racked up a .538 save percentage. Her first carere win came against Binghamton on April 24, a game where she allowed just four goals in 45 minutes of play.

Before Cornell
Gniewek was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American and Scholastic All-American as well as a first-team all-league, all-conference and all-county selection as a senior captain at Mountain Lakes HS. She directed her team to a state title as a junior. Gwienek was also part of two state championship swimming teams, serving as captain as a junior, and also competed in tennis.

Personal
Caroline Grace Gniewek is the daughter of David and Barbara Gniewek and has an older brother, who is a member of the swimming and diving team at Colgate. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
