Biography

As a senior
With her second consecutive 30-goal season, Salisbury made another large impact on the Ivy League this season. With hat tricks in eight games this year and four goals in four games, Salisbury was 10th in the Ivy League with 2.14 goals per game. She had three game-winning goals and 51 draw controls, including four separate performances of six or more draw controls each. She set the single-season Cornell record with her 48th draw control against Boston University. She ended her Big Red career with 95 goals, 30 assists and 125 total points. She was one of two Cornell players who scored twice at Penn in the Ivy League Tournament Semifinal to end the season. She was named to the All-Ivy Second Team for the second consecutive season and was a Tewaaraton Award Watch List member before the season. She was also named to the Ivy League's All-Tournament team for the second consecutive year.

As a junior
Salisbury had a tremdous junior season that saw her earn recognition within the Ivy League and nationally as well. A one-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week and the WomensLax.com National Player of the Week during the year, she was rewarded at season's end by making the second team All-Ivy list and the Ivy League Tournament All-Tournament Team. Salisbury finished the year tied for the team lead with 44 goals, and her 18 assists was second on the squad. She scored at least three goals in 10 of 16 games in 2012 and finished the year with eight straight games of at least three goals. She scored five times against then-No. 11 Loyola-Maryland, and she also scored five goals against Yale on April 21. Salisbury also added 21 draw controls and 14 ground balls to her season stats. At season's end, she was named to the IWLCA's All-Northeast Region Second Team.

As a sophomore
Salisbury posted 16 goals and three assists as a sophomore to rank fourth on the team in scoring. She saw action in 13 contests with 11 starts. Salisbury chipped in eight ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw wins while scoring on 6-of-14 free-position shots. She earned her first start and scored her first career goal in the season opener against Rutgers, then tallied two goals and two assists in the win over Colgate. Salisbury registered hat tricks in consecutive games against nationally ranked opponents to end the season (Syracuse and Florida).

As a freshman
Salisbury saw action in one contest as a rookie in 2010, squeezing off a shot off the bench against Harvard.

At the Saint James School
Salisbury was a two-time area Player of the Year selection at Saint James School. The two-time U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-American was a three-time all-league pick and was one of the state’s top scorers all four varsity seasons. She finished her career with 290 goals and 105 assists for 395 points. She registered 120 points as a senior (85 goals, 35 assists) after notching 119 points as a junior (74 goals, 45 assists). She also was credited with 77 goals and 16 assists as a sophomore and 63 total points in her freshman season (54 goals, nine assists). The conference’s tournament most valuable player as a junior, she was named team MVP three times and served as captain as a senior. Salisbury was also a four-year starter in soccer and a three-year starter in basketball. On the hardwood, she was a two-time all-county pick at guard, averaging 11 points, nine rebounds and six steals a game as a junior. In soccer, Salisbury was a two-year captain and team MVP. She was a two-time all-area pick, scoring 13 goals during her senior campaign as a midfielder. 

Personal
Caroline Wallace Salisbury is the daughter of Todd and Barry Salisbury and has four older brothers. Her brother, Luke, plays lacrosse at Harvard and her mother, Barry, is a former lacrosse letter winner at Virginia. Salisbury is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
