Cecily joins the Big Red from Pittsford Sutherland High School in Pittsford, New York, where she was a four-year varsity starter and two-time team captain in lacrosse... became the first player in program history to surpass 200 career points... earned USA Lacrosse Academic All-America, third-team All-State and first-team All-Greater Rochester honors... was a three-time first-team All-League selection and team MVP as a senior... also competed in soccer for four years, serving as team captain and team MVP as a senior... earned first-team All-League honors twice, Defensive Player of the Year honors twice and a spot on the All-Tournament Team... played club lacrosse for Monster Elite Lacrosse.

PERSONAL
Cecily Hazen Kaul is the daughter of Laura Smith and David Kaul... her mother and uncle, Sean Smith, are Cornell alumni... her uncle, Gerry O'Reilly, represented Ireland in the men's 1,500 meters at the 1988 Summer Olympics... she is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
