As a Senior (2013)
Halpern was a bigger factor in the Cornell offense during her last year with the team, scoring a career-high 10 goals while adding three assists for a career-best 13 points. She scored the game-winning goal against Brown in a tight 9-7 contest, and she had a season- and career-high three points against Harvard. She also had two goals in a difficult test against No. 3 North Carolina in March, and she added six ground balls during her senior campaign.

As a Junior (2012)
Halpern returned from a year off in style, scoring nine goals and adding two assists while playing in 14 games for the Big Red. Primarily a midfielder, Halpern won 12 draws, picked up 12 ground balls and caused two turnovers. She scored a season-high two goals against Columbia and Canisius, and her year ended with a season-high four ground balls against Dartmouth in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals.

As a Sophomore (2011)
Halpern did not play during her sophomore year.

As a Freshman (2010)
Halpern got her Cornell career off to a great start, scoring five goals and three assists in 15 games as a freshman. She also recorded eight ground balls and caused five turnovers.

At Longmeadow HS
Halpern was a U.S. Lacrosse All-America first-team selection as a senior at Longmeadow HS after helping her high school team to four Western Massachusetts championships. A two-time first-team all-league pick, Halpern was also a second-team all-league selection as a sophomore. She helped her team to state runner-up finishes all four varsity seasons and served as team captain as a senior. Halpern was a four-year member of the soccer team as well.

Personal
Lauren Alexandra Halpern is the daughter of Richard and Susan Halpern and has an older sister, Jessica, who is an All-Ivy lacrosse player at Harvard. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
