At Cornell
Sophomore (2015-16): Knox saw a significant jump in playing time during her sophomores season, seeing action in 27 games and averaging 13.9 minutes per contest. She was the first player off the bench seven times and set a new career-high with nine points at Brown on March 5. Knox also eclipsed a career-high with seven rebounds in a career-best 25 minutes at Dartmouth on Feb. 19. She her most complete game at Howard with six points, five assists, four rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes.

Freshman (2014-15): Knox saw action in six games during her freshman season, averaging 1.5 minutes per contest. She finished the year with two points and three rebounds. 

Prior to Cornell
As the team’s starting point guard, Knox helped Central high school win the 2011 TSSAA AAA State Championship, before attending Center Hill high school and wining a 5A District Championship in 2013. During her senior season, she competed for Houston high school and earned a trip to the state tournament after winning the TSSAA District 15 championship, a regional championship, and a sub-state championship.
 
Personal
Marisa Briana Knox is the daughter of Milton and Bridgett Knox and she has one older brother and one younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
