As a senior (2020)
• Elected team tri-captain.
• Started all six games for the Big Red, tallying nine ground balls and three caused turnovers, ranking among the team leaders in both categories.
• Won a pair of ground balls in each of the team's first three contests.
• Caused a turnover in the win over Marist.
• Forced two turnovers at Colgate.
• Earned three ground balls in the win over Columbia.
As a junior (2019)
• First-team All-Ivy League and second-team IWLCA All-Northeast Region selection.
• Served as team captain, starting all 16 games at defense for the Big Red.
• Led squad in caused turnovers with 16 and finished second in ground balls with 26.
• Recorded 17 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers in league play.
• Consistently tasked with top crease mark-ups, she anchored the Big Red defense that held six opponents to single-digit scoring.
As a sophomore (2018)
• Started in 14 games and appeared in all 15, tying for fourth on the team in caused turnovers.
• Also picked up 15 ground balls.
• Tied career highs in ground balls (3, Dartmouth and at Princeton) and caused turnovers (2, at Colgate, Binghamton and Princeton).
As a freshman (2017)
• Had a strong debut season for Cornell, continually showing an ability to match up against the opponent’s best crease attackers.
• Saw time in all 19 games, starting the last 14 straight, and registered 15 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and two draw controls.
• Was one of Cornell’s most consistent clearing options and had just eight turnovers on the year.
• In the Ivy League Tournament semifinal game against Harvard on May 5, had three ground balls and two caused turnovers and also scooped up three ground balls against Rutgers on April 1.
Prior to Cornell
• Bonanni captained her team at Cicero-North Syracuse High School during her senior season.
• She was named first-team Central New York Counties League in 2016 and was an Under Armour Upstate New York Region Lacrosse honoree in 2013 and 2015.
• In addition to lacrosse, Bonanni also played on the basketball team and was named second-team All-League CNYC.
• A 2015 US Lacrosse Academic All-American, she was a member and officer of the National Honor Society in high school.

• Mary Kate Bonanni is the daughter of Jim and Jeanne Anne Bonanni.
• She has a brother, John, and a sister, Alex.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
