Named honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse ... second-team All-Ivy ... placed fifth nationally and third in the Ivy League in points per game (5.0 ppg.) ... scored 26 goals and 34 assists for 60 points in 12 contests ... added 30 ground balls and three caused turnovers while starting all 12 games that he played ... finished second in the Ancient Eight and ninth nationally in assists per contest ... member of the Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List ... two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week ... scored three goals and assisted on four others in a win over Lehigh ... had nine (five goals, four assists) points in a win over Syracuse ... had multi-point efforts in all 12 contests ... posted six games with at least five points, including four with seven ... Named USILA Team of the Week (April 19) … appeared in the last seven of the Big Red’s games after being out with an injury … scored hat tricks at Yale (3/18/23) in his first game back and at Army (4/15/23) … scored in all seven games he played in totaling 13 goals for the season … logged 10 assists on the season … ended the season with a shot on goal percentage of .734.
2022 l JUNIOR SEASON
Started 17 games for the Big Red ... led the team in assists (32) and shooting percentage (.478) ... posted 34 goals, 66 points and 76 shots ... scored twice on only three shots and added an assist in the season-opening win vs. UAlbany ... netted four goals and dished an assist in the win at Penn State ... made three assists in the win over No. 11 Yale ... dished three assists and notched a pair of goals against No. 7 Penn ... credited with three assists and notched a pair of goals in the victory at Colgate ... recorded seven points (three goals, four assists) in the win over No. 11 Harvard ... scored twice and made two assists in the OT win at Syracuse ... notched four goals and tied his season high in assists (four) to record a season high eight points in a win over No. 5 Princeton ... recorded a season high five goals while adding an assist against No. 5 Yale in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals ... posted a goal and two assists in the NCAA first round win over Ohio State.

2020 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Named to College Crosse’s All-Freshmen second team ... started all five games during shortened freshman campaign at attack ... tallied 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points ... ranked second on the team in assists (8) and fourth in goals (11) and points (19) ... finished the season ranked 24th in all of Division I in shot percentage (0.478) ... was among the top-10 in the Ivy League at the conclusion of the season in assists per game (seventh – 1.60) and points per game (10th – 3.80) ... marks also sat 60th and 63rd in the nation, respectively ... named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week in back-to-back weeks on Feb. 24 and March 2 ... tallied a career-high four goals on two occasions against Towson on Feb. 21 and High Point on Feb. 23, notching a natural hat trick against Towson ... added three assists against High Point to finish the contest with a career-high seven points ... closed out the season with 12 ground balls and a caused turnover.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Named a High School All-American and the New Jersey Player of the Year by U.S. Lacrosse in 2019 ... selected to the Under Armour All-America Senior Game in 2019 ... named the New Jersey Pitt/Fitch Division Player of the Year by NJ.com in 2019 ... earned first team all-state honors in 2019, second team all-state distinction in 2018 and honorable mention recognition in 2017 ... finished his high school career as Delbarton HS’s all-time leader in points and assists, registering 93 goals and 114 assists for a total of 207 career points ... three-year letterman, serving as the team captain as a senior ... competed on the club circuit for Patriot Lacrosse.
PERSONAL
Michael Wilson Long is the son of Steve and Leslie Long and has two older sisters ... his father, Steve, is a Cornell men’s lacrosse alumnus, graduating in 1987 ... his sister, Allie, also attended Cornell University, graduating in 2017 ... his other sister, Christine, currently plays lacrosse for the University of Delaware ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
