As a Sophomore (2014)
Kotas saw action in one game this season and helped the Big Red to a 15-4 victory over Binghamton. 

As a Freshman (2013)
Kotas did not play for Cornell during her freshman season.

Before Cornell
Kotas comes to Cornell as a four-time scholar athlete at Saint Francis High, a three-time First Team All-League member and a team captain as a senior. She won the Varsity Lacrosse Coaches Award in 2010 and played for the Northern California team at the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament in 2011. Kotas was also part of teams in 2011 and 2012 that won the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League championships. Also a standout field hockey player, Kotas is one of the fastest players in the 2012 recruiting class. Her speed and aggressive style add to her potential in the midfield.

Taylor Rae Kotas is the daughter of Joseph and Diane Kotas. She has a younger brother, Austin.
