As a Senior (2014)
Smith started all 14 games she appeared in and played a key role on defense for the Big Red. She ended the season with nine ground balls, four draw controls and 12 caused turnovers. She had a season-high two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Big Red’s 15-7 victory at Colgate. 

As a Junior (2013)
Smith saw action in four games for the Big Red in her junior year, picking up three ground balls and taking one shot. She had two ground balls against Colgate and one against Binghamton.

As a Sophomore (2012)
Smith participated in three games in 2012, controlling three draws and causing one turnover. Her season high of  two draw controls came against Canisius.

As a Freshman (2011)
Smith saw action in one game, earning her first varsity appearance at Yale. She won a draw in the victory.

Before Cornell
A four-year letter winner at West Morris Mendham HS, Smith helped her team to a pair of state championship contests during her career. A team captain during her senior year, she earned U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-America honors. A three-sport star, she also competed in field hockey and track and field. 

Personal
Jessica Louise Smith is the daughter of Ken and Kathleen Smith and has two older sisters. Her sister Maggie played on the Ohio State lacrosse team. Smith is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
