Biography
As a Junior (2014)
Carr saw action in ten games this season for the Big Red, recording two ground balls and one caused turnover. She picked up one ground ball March 1 at Harvard and had one ground ball and one caused turnover March 5 at Colgate.
As a Sophomore (2013)
Carr has played in one game during her sophomore season, coming off the bench in the Big Red’s 17-5 victory against Colgate.
As a Freshman (2012)
Carr came off the bench in four games during her first season, providing depth for the Big Red defensive unit in late-game situations.
Before Cornell
An all-county selection as a junior at Glenelg HS, Carr is a four-year starter at defense. The U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-American in 2011 lettered in both lacrosse and field hockey. Carr is a four-time scholar-athlete award winner for lacrosse and earned NFHCA national academic squad honors in lacrosse in 2010. During the summer, Carr was a member of the Hero's Tournament Lacrosse Club, helping her team to a Vail Shootout title in 2010 and finishing among the top teams in the country two consecutive years at the club national championships.
Personal
Kristen Maureen Carr is the daughter of Patrick and Suzanne Carr and has two older brothers. Her brother Steven played lacrosse at Rollins College, while her brother Jimmy is a member of Virginia Tech's rowing team. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
