2024 | SENIOR SEASON
Played in 15 games with eight starts ... logged 10 ground balls, three caused turnovers, and one draw control ... secured two ground balls in season-opener against California ... had three ground balls and one draw control win in Cornell's 27th consecutive victory against Columbia Lions ... logged a ground ball and caused turnover against No. 3 Syracuse ... handed out her first career assist at Harvard to go along with a ground ball ... closed the regular season with another ground ball and caused turnover at Brown ... also tallied her first career assist at Harvard.
2023 I JUNIOR SEASON
Started all 14 games in which she played ... had 17 ground balls and nine caused turnovers ... registered multiple caused turnovers in road wins at Cal and Columbia ... won a career-best four ground balls in the win over the Lions ... added caused turnovers against UAlbany, Dartmouth, UConn, Penn State, and Harvard ... notched a pair of ground balls against Colgate, UConn, and Harvard.
2022 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Stafford made 12 appearances with one start, winning five ground balls ... made her collegiate debut against Binghamton ... won her first collegiate ground ball in the Ivy League win over Columbia ... also picked up ground balls vs. Harvard, Jacksonville, Penn, and Dartmouth.
2021 I FRESHMAN SEASON

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Stafford was an all-division selection in lacrosse as a midfielder at Huntington HS ... posted 10 goals, seven assists, 27 draw controls, 14 ground balls and three caused turnovers during her junior year ... was a four-year varsity letter winner in both lacrosse and soccer while lettering once in track and field ... elected captain of her soccer team in her final two seasons ... earned all-county honors twice and all-division accolades once.
PERSONAL
Marissa Brooke Stafford is the daughter of John and Amy Stafford and has an older brother and sister ... her sister, Camille, played lacrosse at USC and her father was a soccer player at Fordham ... her cousins, Jack (basketball at Scranton) and Stephan (baseball at Iona) were also collegiate athletes ... she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
