2022-23 | SENIOR SEASON
Named finalist for ECAC Hockey's Defensive Defenseman of the Year and Scholar-Athlete Awards ... finished season with 19 points (6+13) while appearing in all of Cornell's 34 games this season ... recorded goals in three consecutive games, tying with Mark McRae (2000-01), Doug Murray (2001-02), and Nick D'Agostino (2010-11) for fourth-longest streak by a Cornell defenseman since 1990-91 ... had a two-goal game against RPI (Feb. 3) before following that up with a three-assist game against Union (Feb. 4) ... co-recipient of ECAC Hockey Defender of the Month honors after having an eight-point month of February ... blocked team-high 59 shots, registering at least one block in 28 of 34 games.

2021-22 | JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 32 games, logging 16 points (3+13), which ranked second by a Cornell defenseman ... logged career-high three assists against St. Lawrence (Dec. 3) ... posted four-game point streak from Feb. 19 - March 11.

2020-21 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Named one of three finalists for ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year ... team's lone freshman to play in all 29 games, posting 12 points (2+10) ... led all Cornell defensemen with 11 points at even strength ... accrued plus-20 rating that tied for team lead, while leading all ECAC Hockey freshman, and ranked fifth nationally ... scored first collegiate goal in 4-2 win at Clarkson (Nov. 15) ... netted second goal in 3-1 win at Harvard (Dec. 6) in match-up of last two undefeated teams in country.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Spent three seasons in USHL, first with Muskegon Lumberjacks before competing most of the next two years with Omaha Lancers ... nearly doubled his point total in second season with the Lancers, leading team’s blueliners with 29 points (3+26), and his 26 were most on team ... selected to play in 2018 USHL/NHL Top Prospect Game ... helped U.S. win gold at 2019 World Junior A Challenge where he was a teammate of classmate Jack Malone ... product of HoneyBaked Hockey Club, where he helped U16 team reach national tournament in 2016.

PERSONAL
Travis Jeffrey Mitchell is the son of Jeff and Jodi Mitchell, and has one brother and one sister ... father played nine years of professional hockey, including seven games with the NHL's Dallas Stars ... enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
